GEM in the media
Now in its 13th year, the longevity and relevance of GEM research attracts media attention more and more frequently, with greater depth of coverage and by a broader range of publications.
In the first six months of 2011, articles citing GEM appeared in news sources at least 100 times per month. GEM was even referenced in US government cables published by Wikileaks.
GEM is covered worldwide; countries with the highest rates of news coverage have different economies and business characteristics. Brazil, Spain, the United States and South Africa all attract extremely high levels of coverage.
