GEM Spain - Melilla
The development of the GEM Project for the Autonomous City of Ceuta is led by Escuela de Negocios de Andalucía Foundation (ESNA Foundation) which collaborates with the local governmental Department of Economy, Employment and Tourism and researchers from the University of Granada.
ESNA Foundation is a non profit entity and is located in Granada and Melilla. Founded in 1989 by thirty Andalusian companies, its aim is to promote economic and business training and culture, and is committed to the development of a dynamic and innovative society, constantly adapting to the changes and challenges of today’s knowledge society.
The directors of the Project for Melilla are Lázaro Rodríguez Ariza and María del Mar Fuentes Fuentes. Lázaro Rodríguez Ariza is the Director of ESNA Foundation and Professor in the Department of Financial Economy and Accounting at the University of Granada. María del Mar Fuentes Fuentes is vice-director of ESNA Foundation and professor in Business Administration at the same university. PhD student Sara Rodríguez Gómez also participates as a member of the ESNA Foundation.
Employment and local development agents Isabel Maza Pérez, Mabel Romero Imbroda, Marta Guerrero Werner take part in the project on behalf of the local governmental Department for Economy, Employment and Tourism.
The project also counts on the participation of Rocío Llamas Sánchez, professor in Business Administration Department at the University of Granada in Melilla. In Granada, professor Carlos Antonio Albacete Sáez and the Phd student Ana Bojica participate on behalf of the Department of Business Administration.
