The GEM Poland team is organising the 2nd Research Conference of the Polish Agency of Enterprise Development (PARP), entitled ENTREPRENEURIAL INSTINCTS, hosted in Warsaw, December 17th, 2012. The goal of the Conference is to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and provide a forum for discussion on topics related to entrepreneurship. The focus will be on recent research projects carried out by Polish Agency of Enterprise Development (PARP). The program will include presentations of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor results for Poland. Since 2011 PARP together with Economic University in Katowice is engaged in the GEM project. Additionally, the SME sector report will be presented, followed by parallel sessions on women entrepreneurship and e-business. The keynote speaker will be Donna J. Kelley, an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Babson College, also a board member of the Global Entrepreneurship Research Association (GERA), the oversight board of the GEM project and leader of the GEM U.S. team. We will also be proud to launch an Entrepreneurship Panel ? a survey run by PARP, which will provide public bodies and social partners with unique information about needs and opinions of Polish entrepreneurs. The added value of the conference is that every topic will be accompanied by comments from recognized experts in the respective subjects. The conference will be held both in Polish and English (we provide simultaneous interpretation).
