José Ernesto Amorós, Professor and Doctoral Programs Director at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey and a member of the GEM Board, is the lead author of a paper entitled Entrepreneurship and subjective well-being: Does the motivation to start-up a firm matter?
Published in the Journal of Business Research and co-authored with Oscar Cristi and Wim Naudé, the paper explores the relationship between the motivation for entering into entrepreneurship and subjective well-being. The authors use data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor in 70 countries covering 159,274 individuals.
