GEM Slovakia 2022 report with English summary. • Total early stage entrepreneurial activity (TEA) has risen in the population, among the young and the elderly, and is above the European average. • The rate of established entrepreneurial activity (EB) has remained at the level of previous years, is lower than in the comparator groups of countries and higher among seniors than among young entrepreneurs. • The sustainability of entrepreneurship as measured by the survival index, i.e. the transition of an entrepreneur from the new to the established phase, has declined year-on-year, which is more related to the increase in new entrepreneurs than to the increase in established entrepreneurship.
