The GEM 2024/2025 Bahrain Women’s Report reveals a dynamic shift in the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial landscape, where women are not only more likely than men to perceive good business opportunities but are also leading in innovation, sustainability, and digital adoption. Produced by the Royal University for Women’s Women’s Research Centre with support from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the report highlights that 93.8% of established women entrepreneurs prioritise social and environmental impact over profit—well above global averages. With strong institutional support and a growing appetite for international markets, Bahraini women are redefining enterprise and setting a new benchmark for inclusive, impact-driven entrepreneurship in the region.
